Large Events Grant

PLEASE NOTE: The Large Events Grant is subject to council approval and call in period. Eligible delivery period for events within this call is from 1 April 2026 until 31 March 2027. All other Call 2 funding programmes will open Monday 23 February 2026.

Purpose:

For large scale events held within the Borough which have value and interest well beyond the local Council area.

Eligible Applicants:

Groups/projects must:

• be a community or voluntary organisation (not for personal profit)
• not already hold two successful grants within the one financial year within FAP
• not already hold a Medium Grant (CD or GR), Large Event Fund Grant or International Event Fund Grant in this year
• be of significance across and beyond the borough

Funding Covers:

• Equipment – purchase of equipment up to £500 / hire of equipment no cap
• Venue hire
• Printing costs
• Materials
• Insurance
• Programme facilitator
• Toilets
• Road closure costs
• Living Christmas trees

Funding:

• £1,001 – £10,000
