Connected Action Plan 2026-2029

Geraldine Lawless, Chair of the Community and Voluntary Sector Panel, thanked those involved in the review process:

“Thank you to everyone who has contributed to the review of the Connected Action Plan. The involvement of our partners, community representatives, seniors and young people has been invaluable in shaping priorities for the years ahead. Anyone interested in getting involved in the action plan or learning more about the work of the partnership is encouraged to contact the Community Planning Team.” 

Elaine Gillespie, Vice-Chair of the Community Planning Strategic Partnership said:

“The Connected Action Plan demonstrates the strength of partnership working across our borough. By bringing together public, community, voluntary and private sector organisations, we can collectively deliver meaningful actions that improve the lives of residents in our borough. I would like to thank everyone who contributed to the review process and look forward to seeing the positive impact these actions will have across our communities.”

 The Community Planning Partnership’s vision for 2030 is to create a happy, healthy and connected community, a vibrant and sustainable economy, and appealing places for living, working and learning. The refreshed action plan outlines the practical steps partners will take to help achieve this vision and deliver on the borough’s nine long-term outcomes. The progress on the outcomes achieved and the actions taken is reported  every two years through the Statement of Progress, the next one is due in 2027.
