44% of respondents to the Northern Ireland Life and Times Survey in the borough for the combined years 2022, 2023 and 2024, believe that relations between Protestants and Catholics are better now than they were five years ago.

Crime
In Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon borough, police recorded crimes decreased by 10.8% between 2023/24 and 2024/25 while in Northern Ireland overall, they decreased by almost 8%.
Rural Statistics
Results from the 2021 Census show that just over half the borough’s population (51%) lived in urban areas while just under half (49%) lived in rural areas.
