Local food and drink producers, farmers and agri‑businesses from across Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough – proudly recognised as Northern Ireland’s Food Heartland – are being invited to take part in this year’s Lurgan and Armagh Agriculture shows.

As part of the Council’s Food Heartland initiative, a dedicated stand will be hosted at both events in June. Local producers are being encouraged to join the stand, providing a valuable opportunity to showcase their products in a shared setting.

Lurgan Show will take place on Saturday 6 June and Armagh Show on Saturday 13 June. Together, these events offer an exceptional platform for local artisan producers to connect with new customers, buyers and food enthusiasts.

Lord Mayor of Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council, Alderman Stephen Moutray said:

“These agricultural shows are a key celebration of our rural heritage and thriving food sector, and the Council is proud to champion our Food Heartland. Showcasing the talent and quality of our local food producers is central to highlighting what makes our borough so special.

“Many of these businesses are built on generations of knowledge, craftsmanship and passion, delivering outstanding field‑to‑fork experiences. Providing an opportunity to exhibit at these shows can be transformative — from building confidence and visibility to opening doors to new markets and buyers.”
