The Wickerman Gathering, a vibrant tribute to the ancient Festival of Lughnasa, is one of Navan Centre and Fort’s key tourism events and is being held on Saturday 1st August 2026. Trading times are 6.30pm to 10.30pm.
The event has been running for several years and attracts an increasing number of visitors each year with 2025 event selling out with a record number of attendees.
The highlight of the event will see the 30ft handcrafted willow structure set ablaze in a dramatic fire ceremony. Music and entertainment will feature strongly throughout the evening event. We wish to include a small number of complimentary stalls to trade on site for the duration of the event, this includes after the lighting of the Wickerman.
We anticipate an audience of 1,500 people.
We would like to invite the following traders to apply –
- Traditional crafts i.e Leather, Wooden, Natural Fibre Crafts
- Crepe or hot snacks traders
- Ice cream trader
- Hot food traders to include vegetarian or vegan trader
- Tarot reader or similar
- Local art
- Handmade Jewellery
- Facepaints, Henna
(No tea/coffee or alcohol stalls should apply for this event.)
Please note – a limited number of stall space is available. Power may be provided by request.
Cost of trading pitch at Wickerman Festival times 6.30pm to 10.30pm
- Hot Food vehicle/trailer/stall maximum size – 6m x 3m Cost £35 plus VAT (includes power provision)
- Stall maximum 3m x 3m Cost £25. ABC Council will provide a marquee included in this cost.(£10 extra for power provision)
