The two beautiful calves born on Christmas Day at Tannaghmore Rare Breeds Animal Farm along with their very proud mother

Tannaghmore Rare Breeds Animal Farm received a very special gift on Christmas Day with the birth of two beautiful female Irish Moiled calves. The animals were safely delivered thanks to the expertise of farm staff Colin and Jeff with a little help from a local vet. Both mother and calves are healthy, happy and thriving.

Although Tannaghmore Rare Breeds Animal Farm is currently closed to the public due to Covid-19 regulations, we would like to give you the chance to welcome the farms latest residents by taking part in our Name the Christmas Calves Competition.

We would like your suggestions to name our special new arrivals with the winning entry, which will be chosen by the Lord Mayor, receiving a special springtime guided tour of the farm for all the family (Covid regulations permitting) where they will get to meet the calves along with all the other animals at Tannaghmore.

Simply send your suggestions along with your name, address and contact details to . Entries must be received by 5pm on Friday 29 January 2021. The winning entry will be announced on social media. Please note this competition is open to Armagh City Banbridge and Craigavon Borough residents only. Only emailed entries can be accepted
