From Monday 8 June 2020, the Shambles Variety Market and Lurgan Market will reopen again under normal trading hours. Returning on a phased basis, food produce, plant and shrub market traders will be the first to return – operating under social distancing guidelines.

We currently manage and run two markets in Armagh City and Lurgan. The Shambles Variety Market on Cathedral Road and Market Square in Armagh City, and Lurgan Market on the Town Plaza. They provide bargains for shoppers, opportunities for family events and a unique experience for visitors while giving traders a chance to showcase their goods.

The markets offer a variety of quality goods to the public, with a view to enhancing customers shopping experience, encouraging return visits.

We work hard to maintain the markets and along with Trading Standards have voluntarily signed up to the ‘Real Deal Charter’ demonstrating a commitment to work together to prevent counterfeits and other illicit being sold at our markets making them safe and fair environments in which to trade and to shop.

There is also an indoor market in Portadown at the Millennium Court in William Street which is open Friday and Saturday from 7am to 4pm.
