Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council will be hosting a free Job Fair this June showcasing a wide range of exciting opportunities on offer across the borough!
Taking place at South Lake Leisure Centre on Thursday 23rd June from 11am-2pm, a host of local employers will be on hand to promote a wide range of jobs and career opportunities in a bid to recruit from the pool of local talent across the ABC area.
The event will also offer information on training opportunities, self-employment, careers guidance and practical advice to help improve your chances of finding employment. Attendees will receive a full listing of available vacancies, as well as extra information on recruitment and training support. A sign language interpreter will be available throughout the duration of the Job Fair.
Hundreds of exciting job opportunities at all levels of experience are available throughout the borough, from both large and small employers across a range of sectors including manufacturing, construction, hospitality, retail, catering, transport, engineering, health and social work, the public sector and professional services.
Lord Mayor of Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon, Councillor Paul Greenfield comments, “We are delighted to host the ABC Job Fair on 23 June to help connect local people with local employers who are actively recruiting. The ABC Job Fair reinforces Council’s commitment to support the recovery and growth of the local economy and our commitment to support the local community. I would encourage anyone who is interested in a new job or developing their career to come along and find out about the fantastic careers and support available here in the borough.”
This event is free and you don’t need to sign-up to attend – just drop in between 11am and 2pm and we will be delighted to see you! As a gesture from Council the first 30 attendees will also receive a gift voucher for South Lake Leisure Centre.
