Portadown People’s Park is getting ready to welcome families for a fantastic day of fun, friendship and community spirit with the annual Good Relations Family Fun Day!
Organised by Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council, everyone is invited to come along to this exciting free event on Saturday 22 August, packed with activities for all ages to enjoy.
From sports and arts and crafts to messy play, face painting and inflatables, there will be plenty to keep children entertained throughout the afternoon! Whether you’re looking to get creative, burn off some energy or simply enjoy quality time together, there will be something for everyone.
Visitors will also have the opportunity to meet and chat with local support organisations in a relaxed and friendly setting, helping families discover services and opportunities available in their area.
The event is all about bringing people together, encouraging new connections and celebrating the strong sense of community within our borough.
“I’m really looking forward to seeing families and friends come together for what promises to be a fantastic afternoon in Portadown People’s Park,” commented Lord Mayor of Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon, Councillor Mary O’Dowd.
“There will be lots of fun activities to enjoy, and it’s a great opportunity to meet new people, spend time with loved ones and celebrate the wonderful community spirit that exists across our borough. I encourage everyone to come along and join in the fun!”
