Banbridge Paint Scheme

New Paint Scheme for Banbridge

Commercial buildings in Banbridge can look forward to a facelift thanks to a new initiative implemented by Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council (see attached map for eligibility).

Banbridge Paint Scheme has been launched to assist property owners, tenants and landlords of commercial premises to improve the external appearance of their buildings as a way of supporting the growth of local business, improving the town centre environment and raising the image of Banbridge for locals and visitors.

The Paint Scheme offers a maximum grant of £1000 which is available to all commercial premises, both occupied and vacant within Banbridge town centre boundary and outside the footprint of the new Public Realm Scheme (see map for eligibility).

The grant offered will cover up to 80% of eligible costs to a maximum of £1000 per property and applicants will be required to contribute 20% match funding.

Owners of commercial property within the project area can apply directly for grant aid and tenants may apply in conjunction with the building owner. Only one application per building will be considered. Guidance notes are available which outline the terms & conditions of the scheme and offer assistance with the application process online: https://armaghbanbridgecraigavon.eformz.info

Applications for funding can be made from 4th April 2022 and the closing date for completed applications to be returned online is 12noon, Friday 6th May 2022.

Application to be submitted online: https://armaghbanbridgecraigavon.eformz.info
