This summer, young people aged eight to 16 across the borough got hands-on with creativity and technology through two exciting council-led programmes: the STEAM Summer Programme and Digital Connections.
Delivered by Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council, both programmes offered three action-packed days of coding, animation, digital art, Minecraft, film, design challenges and more – all designed to build skills in a fun, engaging way.
Workshops were held in Keady, Craigavon, Banbridge and Armagh throughout July and August, with fantastic feedback from participants and parents alike. From problem-solving and teamwork to exploring the digital world, young people gained valuable experience – all while having a great time!
These programmes were funded through The Executive Office District Council’s Good Relations Action Plan.
