Residents and motorists are advised of a number of road closures, restrictions and diversions which will be place in villages and towns across the Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough in the run up to Christmas.
Portadown – Friday 14 November
- 12 noon–12 midnight: Car park spaces closed from Ulster Bank (20 High Street) to William Street.
- 1pm–12 midnight:
- Edward Street & Thomas Street at Portmore Street junction
- High Street at Woodhouse Street junction
- Left lane closed from Bridge Street South to High Street
- Inbound High Street & outbound Market Street lanes
- Inbound Woodhouse Street (Magowan West car park junction)
- Inbound Church Street (Mandeville Street junction)
- 3pm–12 midnight: Car park spaces closed at West Street/Market Street to Woodhouse Street junction.
- 4pm–12 midnight: West Street at Magowan West car park junction & outbound Mandeville Street (30m from West Street).
Diversions: Meadow Lane, Portmore Street, Hanover Street, Bridge Street & Northway.
Lurgan – Friday 21 November
- 10am–11am: Car park spaces around the Plaza.
- 11am–5pm: Lane closures near the Plaza (Carnegie Street/Market Street to 38 Church Place; Castle Lane to 58 Church Place).
- 4pm–5pm: Car park spaces between 50–58 Church Place & 1 Market Street – 26 Church Place.
- 5pm–12 midnight: Full closure from 58 Church Place to Castle Lane, and Union Street/Market Street to 38 Church Place.
Diversions: Church Place, Edward Street, Malcolm Road, Millennium Way & Union Street.
Markethill – Friday 21 November
- 3.30pm–10.30pm: Main Street closed (Newry Street junction to Keady Street junction).
Dromore – Saturday 22 November
- 8am–9pm: Full closure of Upper Market Square.
Diversions: Market Square, Princes Street & Gallows Street.
Banbridge – Friday 28 November
- 7am–1am (Sat 29 Nov): One lane closed both directions from Newry Road roundabout to Bridge Street; single lane closure from Lidl to Newry Road roundabout.
- 1.30pm–1am (Sat 29 Nov): Car park spaces closed in Newry Street & Linenhall Street.
- 3pm–1am (Sat 29 Nov): Full closure of Newry Street, Bridge Street, Scarva Street & Rathfriland Street.
Diversions: Downshire Road, Downshire Place, Rathfriland Street, Scarva Road, Commercial Road, Kenlis Street & Gospel Lane.
Rathfriland – Friday 28 November
- 10am–9pm: Full closure of Church Square North (both sides) including car park spaces. (Car park spaces closed from Thursday 27th midnight)
