Local Democracy Week takes place every year and aims to raise awareness about local government and encourage interest in local politics.

To find out more about what we can do for you and how you can have your say in local decision-making, you can:

Get involved and help out in your area by joining your local residents association or community group. Contact a member of the Council’s Community Development Team for more information.
