Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon Policing and Community Safety Partnership (ABC PCSP) is giving older people the chance to get sound advice on staying safe and healthy with its ‘Keep Safe Keep Well’ event.
Taking place on Tuesday 15 January from 10.00am to 1.30pm in the Seagoe Hotel, Portadown, the free event will highlight services and organisations available to help people aged 60 and over.
With a range of organisations and guest speakers sharing advice on topics such as protection against scams, nuisance callers and crime prevention as well as signposting to information on a range of different topics, attendees will benefit from a wealth of information.
Welcoming the free event, Chair of ABC PCSP Councillor Joe Nelson commented,
“As we get older and our family members get older, it is so very important to know what services are available to us and to understand how to access them, which is why the ‘Keep Safe Keep Well’ event is so worthwhile.
“Providing a unique opportunity to hear guidance and advice from array of organisations, service providers and guest speakers as well as enjoy a free lunch – attendees are promised a very informative and enjoyable day”.
With limited availability, make sure to book your place by contacting Pat or Claire on 028 3752 9600 before Friday 4 January 2019. If the event is oversubscribed places will be drawn at random.
Please note this is a ticket only event and you will not be admitted without a ticket.
