
If you are planning a community event and would like some practical help and knowledge in the organisation of it, then sign up to one of the free Community Events Management Training sessions.
Designed to help organisers deliver safe, well-managed and enjoyable events, these sessions cover a wide range of topics, no matter the scale of the proposed event.
The training will look at licenses, timelines, site maps, contingency plans, vendor requirements, communication and governance as well as marketing and promotion, health and safety considerations, financial costing, funding and fundraising.
For organisers expecting up to 1,000 attendees, the Small Community Events Training will take place on Wednesday 28 January from 6pm to 9pm in Millenium Court, Portadown.
For organisers expecting over 1,000 attendees, the Large Community Events Training will take place on Wednesday 4 February from 6pm to 9pm in Millenium Court, Portadown.
