Our popular ‘Keep Safe, Keep Well’ series finished on a high earlier this month – with almost 400 residents attending the events at Lough Neagh Discovery Centre, the Bannville Hotel, Banbridge and then finally at Armagh City Hotel, to learn more about looking after their personal safety and wellbeing.
The events gave attendees the opportunity to hear about support available to them including fire safety, crime prevention, scams and how to keep active and eat well to help to age well.
Each event also featured information stands on key service areas that affect older people and speakers from key public and voluntary sector organisations offering vital advice for the over 60s.
