Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council are inviting proposals from suppliers to bid for the provision of a package of fun fair rides, based at Shambles Yard, Armagh as part of the Georgian Festival Weekend that offer good value and create a family friendly event over the duration of the festival.
The annual Georgian Festival, one of the council’s Signature Tourism Events, brings Armagh’s Georgian history and stories to life, with a diverse range of events taking place from Thursday 26 November – Sunday, 29 November 2026 with up to 45,000 attendees on the Saturday. The festival weekend includes stalls featuring a wide range of craft, children’s activities, confectionery and food in the city centre and the Mall on Saturday 28 November,. There will also be a programme of live music and entertainment throughout the city centre to enhance the event.
The Friday and Saturday will feature three festive family light shows each. The event will be ticketed with 2,000 tickets available per show, attracting large numbers into the city centre on both evenings and throughout the weekend.
