Tourism and hospitality businesses across the Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough are being invited to take part in a new Digital Marketing and Social Media Workshop Programme designed to help strengthen their online presence, reach new audiences and drive business growth.

Delivered by Chartered Marketers Christine Watson and Denise Hamill. The practical two-day programme will provide businesses with the knowledge, tools and confidence to improve their digital marketing activity and create engaging content that converts interest into bookings.

Commenting on the initiative, The Lord Mayor of Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon, Councillor Mary O’Dowd said:

“Our tourism and hospitality sector plays a vital role in showcasing everything that makes our borough a great place to visit, from our welcoming accommodation providers and attractions to our cafés, restaurants and visitor experiences. In today’s increasingly digital world, having a strong online presence is essential for businesses to reach new audiences and remain competitive. This programme will provide participants with practical skills and expert guidance to help them maximise their digital marketing efforts, strengthen their visibility and grow their business.”

The programme will cover a range of topics including website performance, search engine optimisation (SEO), Google Business Profile, email marketing, social media strategy, content creation, photography and video, digital advertising, online reviews and the use of AI tools in marketing.

The free workshops will focus on practical, hands-on learning, enabling participants to apply skills and techniques directly to their own business throughout the programme.
