Booking community facilities across the Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon council area is now easier than ever with the launch of a new online booking system.
The online platform is designed to make the booking process a seamless and user-friendly experience, offering the opportunity to view community facilities, additional and support resources, check availability, submit and manage booking requests.
The new booking system will also help raise awareness of the community centres and town halls available, making these facilities even more accessible to everyone across the borough.
Welcoming the introduction of the new booking system, Lord Mayor Councillor Mary O’Dowd said: “We have a fantastic range of community facilities across the borough, which are used by voluntary, toddler, hobby and support groups. The new online booking system supports our aim of ensuring that community facilities remain well-used, vibrant and accessible places that bring people together to enrich community life.”
From meetings and classes to events and performances, council offers a wide range of affordable, flexible and accessible spaces across 14 different facilities, which includes 10 community centres and 4 town halls.
These facilities are currently used to host community activities including parties, health and wellbeing programmes, recreation and social hubs, in addition to private and business functions.
