Tourism Northern Ireland and Department for the Economy have issued guidance for safe working during Covid-19 for the visitor economy, hotels, accommodation, restaurants, pubs and restaurants.

Website Development Programme 2020-21

The programme is designed to improve the attractiveness and bookability of Northern Ireland’s visitor experiences. It will assist tourism providers to market and sell their experiences through improved web provision given the market pressures within the post Covid environment. It will provide guidance to experience providers to enhance their website and provide financial assistance for necessary improvements thereto, including search engine optimisation, provision of the right content, and the use of the right tactics to capture sales.

Quality Grading Assessments & Statutory Inspections Postponed

Assessments and Inspections (and any associated payments) will be postponed until further notice so that tourism businesses can focus on putting in place measures to protect their businesses.

NI Tourism Alliance is continuing to lobby government for support for tourism businesses.

The Business Support & Innovation Centre is offering the Retail, Hospitality and Tourism Sector a range of funded programmes.

Up to 60 hours of mentoring support available from industry experts through InnovateUs and Invest NI Innovation Voucher Programmes.
