Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council’s Labour Market Partnership is hosting a major Job Fair next week, Thursday 26 September, in Armagh City Hotel that will see up to 80 companies in attendance with live vacancies ready to be filled.

If you are looking for a change of career, seeking a job or training opportunity, or perhaps re-entering the job market after some time, there will be a range of sectors represented at the fair including Construction, Manufacturing, I.T., Engineering, Customer Service, and many more.

There will also be information on training, careers guidance and practical advice to help improve your chances of finding employment.  Attendees will receive a full listing of available vacancies, as well as extra information on recruitment and training support.

This will be the biggest job fair in the area this year, funded by the Department for Communities and collaborating with the Cross Border Partnership for Employment Services.

Lord Mayor of Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough, Councillor Sarah Duffy said:

“This job fair will be largest that the borough has seen in recent times with up to 80 organisations present.  The advantage of including cross border companies means that we are opening out the catchment area for local people to apply and successfully gain employment across the region.

“The Council’s collaborative approach in organising an event such as this shows its commitment to ensuring career opportunities and support for all. There will be a wealth of live vacancies ready to be filled on the day and I would encourage any hopeful job seekers to come along.”

The job fair is from 10.30am to 1.30pm on Thursday 26 September at Armagh City Hotel and is free to attend. You can find out more information by visiting www.armaghbanbridgecraigavon.gov.uk/jobfair
