A free online training course designed to help local community and voluntary groups prepare for and deliver capital projects is being offered by the Community Development department.
The Basic Capital Project and Funding Training will provide a realistic and practical overview of what’s involved in managing a capital project – from planning and securing funding, to delivering the build and maintaining the project once it’s complete.
This training is particularly aimed at groups considering their first capital project, helping them assess their readiness and develop the necessary knowledge and skills to move forward with confidence. It will also act as a useful sense check for groups already undertaking a project.
Training will take place via zoom on Wednesday 15th and 22nd October 2025 at 7pm and booking is essential.
