More than 20 fabulous Easter baskets will be raffled off this March in support of Lord Mayor Alderman Margaret Tinsley’s chosen charity, Charis Cancer Care!

In case you’ve missed it, the hand wrapped baskets, which each include an egg-stremely delicious Easter egg and a cuddly bunny rabbit have been springing up in council facilities across the borough over the past few days, and one could be yours!

To bag yourself a basket, all you have to do is take part in the Lord Mayor’s Easter Raffle! No need to walk on eggshells, just hop on over to your local council facility, speak to a receptionist and buy a square at £2 each – not forgetting to add your name and contact details.

Speaking of Charis Cancer Care, Lord Mayor Alderman Margaret Tinsley said:

This local charity does amazing work offering a range of holistic and complementary therapies to individuals affected by cancer and their loved ones. They focus on the whole person – their physical, psychological, and emotional needs – and offer body therapies, reflexology, massage, aromatherapy, counselling, and nutritional advice at their facility.

“I encourage you all to take part in this fun raffle not only for the chance to win a lovely Easter Basket but to also help support and sustain the work of this incredibly important charity.

Raffle winners will be drawn at all locations before Easter, just in time for you to collect your prize and enjoy over the holiday period.
