Women from across the borough are warmly invited to join a special, free International Women’s Day event designed to create a welcoming, inclusive and safe space for women to come together, make connections and feel valued.
This year’s theme is women’s health and wellbeing and will bring together a diverse group of women for meaningful conversations about their lives and experiences, through storytelling and questions.
The event aims to create a warm, uplifting and community-focused atmosphere, to build and strengthen connections among women across the borough, encourage the sharing of stories and lived experiences, inspire attendees through hearing from women with unique voices and journeys, and ensure every woman feels valued, cared for and included.
All women are invited to come along, join the conversation, and be part of this uplifting celebration. Whether you’re looking to meet new people, reconnect with others, or simply enjoy a positive and inspiring experience, this event offers a supportive space for every woman.
“I am really looking forward to attending this event,” commented the Deputy Lord Mayor, Councillor Jessica Johnston. “Whether attending alone or with friends, every woman will be welcomed with kindness and encouraged to engage in a way that feels comfortable for her. We would love to see you there.”
This event will take place on Thursday 12 March in the Seagoe Hotel from 10am to 2pm. Places are limited for this event. Please register by calling Emma on 028 3839 2777.
This event is being organised by Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council in partnership with ABC Community Network and the Southern Health and Social CareTrust.
