Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council, in partnership with local enterprise agencies, has wrapped up a hugely successful Global Enterprise Week 2025, which ran from Monday 17 to Friday 21 November showcasing the theme of ‘Together We Build’.

The week-long programme brought together entrepreneurs, industry experts, and business leaders for a series of dynamic events designed to spark ideas, share knowledge, and strengthen connections across the borough.

From cutting-edge technology to culinary creativity, the packed schedule showcased the diversity and strength of our local business community.

Events included AI Tools for Business, Putting Local Back on the Menu, The Power of 3D Printing for Advanced Manufacturing, and Entrepreneurial Stories – an inspiring panel discussion with local business leaders including Belinda O’Neill, Sinéad Lunny, Jonny Murphy, and Katriona Monaghan who shared candid insights into their journeys, challenges, and triumphs.

Lord Mayor Alderman Stephen Moutray praised the programme of events: “Global Enterprise Week is a fantastic celebration of ambition, creativity, and resilience within our borough. Economic development is a crucial part of the work that we do in Council, and this week demonstrates our commitment to supporting businesses at every stage – from start-ups taking their first steps to established companies looking to scale and diversify.

“I would like to thank everyone involved in putting such a great programme of events together. Throughout the week, insights were shared by guest speakers, connections made during networking sessions, and practical advice offered that will have a lasting impact on our local economy.”

Ciaran Cunningham, Chief Executive of Banbridge District Enterprises Ltd, added: “Global Enterprise Week is a testament to the great networks of support that we have throughout the borough. So many organisations came together to provide this week of events – partnership working in action. Looking forward to next year already!”
