Courses in canoeing, climbing, multi sports and hip hop dance will commence the first week in July with many more to follow later in July and August.

For those adventure seekers aged 8 – 14 years, Gilford Community Centre will host both a climbing course and a canoeing course from Monday 4 to Thursday 7 July. The climbing course will run from 3.30pm – 5pm, and the canoeing course will run from 6pm – 7.30pm.

The cost to participate in each course will be £12 for the first child and each additional child from the same immediate family will cost £10.

This course is organised by the Council in conjunction with Banbridge District Sports Association, the Everybody Active 2020 Programme (supported by Sport NI), with the canoeing course receiving support from Banbridge Kayak and Canoe Club.

Two courses, multi-sports and hip-hop dance, will be held at Fair Hill Primary School in Kinallen for children aged 5 to 11. The multi sports course will run from 10am to 12noon from Monday 4 July until Friday 8 July, followed by the hip hop dance course from 1.30pm – 3pm which will be held from Monday 4 July until Thursday 7 July.
