Excitement is building for this year’s Heart & Sole Colour Dash in Lurgan Park on Sunday 7th May – so make sure you don’t miss out on the fun!
Registration for this hugely popular Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council event is set to close on Wednesday 26th April. Entries cannot be taken on the day, due to the nature of the event, so you MUST be registered to take part.
Due to last year’s high demand, entries have increased to 1500 for this year’s event. There are still some tickets left so get signed up, come along and enjoy the party atmosphere. Adult tickets cost £18, children 3-14 years £12, a family ticket (2 adults and 2 children 3-14 years) cost £45.
All proceeds from the colour dash will be going to the Motor Neurone Disease Association Northern Ireland and British Heart Foundation Northern Ireland.
There will be lots to keep you entertained, a bouncy castle, face painting, balloon modelling, a photo booth (cost £1 per strip of photos). After a fun group warm up, runners and walkers will take to the course to be doused with colour powder at various points. Once over the finish line join the DJ to count down to one of two scheduled ‘colour throws’ that will fill the sky with an amazing rainbow of colour.
Enjoy the park, have fun, exercise and raise vital funds for two worthwhile charities at this fantastic event, organised by Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council in association with the Public Health Agency, British Heart Foundation Northern Ireland, Motor Neurone Disease Association Northern Ireland, Intersport and Tesco.
You don’t have to be an athlete to take part, you can run, walk or a mixture of both – the colour dash is entirely for fun – so log on to www.craigavonactivity.org now to avoid disappointment!
