Corbet Lough

Corbet Lough is a premier 70-acre trout fishery set in the scenic County Down countryside against the backdrop of the Mourne Mountains. It offers fantastic angling opportunities for local anglers and tourists alike.

The facilities at Corbet Lough include a boating dock and jetty, complete with six McA fishing boats and one wheely boat for use by disabled anglers. There are three fishing stands with wheelchair access, two timber shelters, and three angling platforms to the front restricted concession shore. There is also a Boat Attendants fishing lodge with public toilet provision. There are picnic benches and a small grass area for relaxing and enjoying the picturesque surroundings.

This picturesque setting amongst the Bann Valley drumlins offers visitors the opportunity to relax and catch a breath of rest air.

Open access all year round.

Angling Season: 1st March to 31st October. Boat angling is available from 1st April to 31st October.

Where can I park?

Free parking is available on site, but spaces are limited.

Where is the nearest toilet?

Toilets available next to the Boating Attendants office.

Where is the nearest café?

During the Angling season, the Boat Attendants’ Office sells a small selection of soft drinks and confectionery. More substantial meals may be purchased at the nearby Anglers Rest Bar and Bistro or local petrol station.

Dog Policy

Dogs on lead and under proper control, and restrained from giving reasonable cause for annoyance or alarm to other persons.

Please clean up after your dog.
