This Christmas, be a ‘Claus for a good cause’ and join the Lord Mayor, Councillor Mealla Campbell in a stroll around Portadown People’s Park – with all proceeds from the day going to the charity, Cancer Fund for Children.
Taking place on Sunday 15th December from 2pm to 4pm, this is the second year of the ‘Santa Saunter’ event and it promises to be a lot of festive fun in the fresh air while raising money for charity.
And of course, there will be an extra special guest taking part on the day as Santa Claus himself will be taking time out of his hectic schedule to join in!
“I am delighted to be hosting the Santa Saunter this year as I know it was so successful last year,” commented the Lord Mayor, Councillor Mealla Campbell.
“Take a breather from the hustle and bustle of Christmas preparations and enjoy a couple of hours with Santa in the beautiful Portadown People’s Park, getting some exercise, fresh air and some time out while also raising money for such a worthwhile charity. I hope to see many faces there on the day – from little ones to the not so little ones!”
Cost for the event is £5 per person or £10 for a family of five or under. Refreshments will be included. Register for this event online at getactiveabc.com/Christmas
