Join the Lord Mayor in Gosford Forest Park and support Macmillan Cancer Support

Coffee Morning for Macmillan Cancer
Join the Lord Mayor for a socially distanced Coffee Morning In Gosford Forest Park this Friday 25th September between 10am and noon. All proceeds to Macmillan Cancer Support.

The World’s Biggest Coffee for Macmillan Cancer Support is still going ahead this year – just in a few different ways! And the Lord Mayor of Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon is keen to help raise some much-needed funds for this charity by holding a socially distanced coffee morning in Gosford Forest Park.

Taking place between 10 am and noon, come on down to the car park and enjoy a hot cuppa, with all proceeds going towards Macmillan Cancer Support.

“Throughout the pandemic and moving forward, charities have been really struggling because they have missed out on so many of their annual fundraising events,” commented the Lord Mayor, Councillor Kevin Savage.

“Macmillan Cancer Support is my chosen charity for my year as Lord Mayor, so I am keen to do something – within the current regulations – to raise some funds to add to the pot. An outdoor, socially distanced coffee morning in the stunning surroundings of Gosford is a great way to do just this and I am looking forward to seeing some of you coming down to enjoy a cup of coffee (or tea!), and to add your support to this wonderful charity.”

For those of you who cannot make the event, you can still donate via this link – any donation will be truly appreciated by the charity.
