Conservation Volunteer workshops at Dromore Town Hall

The Conservation Volunteers are back in Dromore Town Hall on Saturday 18 February, sharing their love for nature with two more exciting spring themed workshops.

From 10am – 12 noon children aged 7 – 11 years under the expert guidance of the Conservation Volunteers will decorate their very own flower pots in dazzling spring colours and then receive expert advice on how to plant up the pots with beautiful flowers. The completed pots can then be taken home to care for and watch grow and blossom.

From 1pm – 3pm adults can create a wonderful window box from scratch and learn how to plant with an array of colourful spring plants.  The completed window box is yours to keep and is sure to take pride of place on your own window sill at home.

The cost for each workshop is £5 and all materials will be provided. Please note children attending the flower pot workshop must be accompanied by an adult.

Each workshop has a maximum of 12 places so advance booking is essential. To book your place telephone 028 4066 0605/0609, lines are open: Monday– Friday 9 – 5pm.
