It’s never too early to get that festive feeling and what better way to get the seasonal shopping underway and pick up the perfect present than a visit to ‘Christmas Crafts at the Gallery’ which makes a welcome return to the FE McWilliam Gallery & Studio, Banbridge on Friday 16 November from 4pm – 9pm and Saturday 17 November from 10am – 4pm.
Set in the stylish surroundings of the Borough’s premier arts facility, Christmas Crafts at the Gallery is the perfect opportunity to get the gift gathering underway or perhaps just treat yourself to something a little bit special from the array of exquisite handmade crafts on offer including ceramics, jewellery, textiles and handbags plus much more.
Visitors will also get the opportunity to meet and greet the crafters who will be on hand to discuss their products and offer enlightenment on the processes and techniques used to create each beautiful, exclusive piece.
As well as taking delight with the creative crafts on display why not relax and enjoy live musical performances while children can get creative with free drop-in craft workshops and face painting.
Quails at the Gallery will also be open throughout the event offering a delicious selection of tasty treats to tantalise the taste buds.
For those planning to visit on Saturday 17 November, a free park and ride shuttlebus service will be operating between the Gallery, The Boulevard and Banbridge Town Centre (Old Town Hall, Scarva Street). Commencing at 11am until 3pm the service will run every 15mins with pick up/set down points signposted at the Old Town Hall, and car park D at The Boulevard (beside McDonalds).
