Bat walk and talk in council parks this August!

Discover the fascinating world of bats this August at special ‘Bat Walk and Talk’ events hosted by Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council, at parks across the borough!

Taking place in Portadown People’s Park on 14th August, Loughgall Country Park on 15th August and Lurgan Park on the 16th August, experts will be on hand to give an informative talk on local bat species, where they live, what they eat, how long they live for, threats to their survival and much, much more.

As light fades, the team will then bring local bat enthusiasts on a tour of the park in search of these intriguing flying mammals with specially designed bat detectors!

The events will commence at 8pm. Costs are £4.00 per adult, £2.00 per child or a family of four £10.  Booking is essential on 07766 740 427.
