10 Mile Road Race & 4 Mile Fun Challenge


Armagh Adidas 10 Mile Road Race & 4 Mile Fun Challenge in association with Armagh Athletic Club and sponsored by Digby’s Restaurant, Killylea will take place on Sunday 9th October at 12noon from the Navan Centre.

Lord Mayor of Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough, Councillor Garath Keating said, “I am delighted to launch the annual Road Race this event brings hundreds of athletes together from all both north and south of the border. It will be great to see so many clubs/schools taking part in the 4 mile race to raise much needed funds. I am especially delighted that £1 from each entry fee will be donated to my charity Motor Neurone Disease. I look forward to welcoming participants and I encourage everyone to come along support this event”.

Michael Macklin from, Digby’s Bar and Restaurant said, “We are delighted to continue to support this event at Navan now in its 17th year as it helps bring individuals, clubs and families together in a fun and safe environment. Commencing at 12noon, fun running families could certainly make a day of it, once finished by having dinner or other needed refreshments in our restaurant close by”.

Everyone who takes part in the event receives a tee-shirt.

Late entries will be taken between 10am-11am on Sunday 9th October with fees of £10 for the 4 Mile Fun Challenge and £20 for the 10 Mile.
