Craigavon Borough Council aims to enhance the quality of life for all local Citizens by providing access to a range of funding for community development and cultural events.  Our grant schemes empower local communities, encourage active participation in community life and contribute to the wellbeing of local people.

Grant Aid Schemes facilitated by us include:

  • Community Development Grant Aid Scheme
  • Neighbourhood Festival & Event Scheme
  • Good Relations Grant Aid Scheme
  • Grants to Advice Services
  • Community Festival & Event Scheme (DCAL)

 Council will only award grants to projects which benefit people from within the Borough Council boundaries.

Applicants must be a constituted group/organisation, have a list of committee members, produce annual reports or minutes of an annual general meeting and produce audited accounts or records of income and expenditure for grant aid support.

A policy document with the eligibility criteria and conditions of funding are published with each round of funding.

Irish and Ulster Scots Voicemail Service

The Council now provides an Irish and Ulster Scots voicemail service for any member of the public who wishes to ring using these languages. Simply ring the Council and ask to be put through to the service.  You will then hear a voicemail message in that language and be asked to leave your message.  We will then have your message translated and a response sent.
