Your bin collection day may be changing
Bin collection routes have been reviewed as part of our ongoing commitment to provide you with a more efficient and cost-effective household waste collection service.
All households in the Armagh area:
Your Grey/Brown bin collection day(s) may be changing from week commencing 3rd April 2017. A leaflet detailing collection days will be delivered to all households in March 2017.
Bryson Recycling`s weekly “kerbside” and food collections will remain the same.
All households in Blackwatertown area:
Your Black/Brown/Blue bin collection day(s) may be changing from week commencing 3rd April 2017. A leaflet detailing collection days will be delivered to all households in March 2017.
However, glass bottles and jars can no longer be recycled through the blue bin.
Glass bottles and jars can be recycled at your nearest recycling points which are located at:
• Moy Co-op, 10 Dungannon Street, Moy BT71 7SH
• Killyman Post Office, Laghey Corner Shop, Killyman, Dungannon BT71 6TS
• Wrights Filling station, 134 Dungannon Road, Portadown, BT62 1LH
• Scotch Street Filling station, 106 Moy Road, Craigavon BT62 1QP

Bin collection routes have been reviewed across the Armagh and Blackwatertown area to incorporate new households and as part of our ongoing commitment to provide you with a more efficient and cost-effective household waste collection service. The changes mean we can make the service run more efficiently day to day.
Approximately 90% of the households in the Armagh and Blackwatertown area will see a change in their collection day. You will receive further information directly to your household informing you what your collection day will be and if it has changed.
The crews will be following new routes, so this will mean that if your collection day has not changed, the time of your collection may change. Please ensure that you put out your bin no later than 7am on your collection day to make sure that your bin is emptied.
The new changes will start week commencing 3rd April 2017. Until then you should continue to put your grey and brown bins out on your usual collection day.

We understand that some residents may find they have to put the same colour of bin out on their new collection day, from week commencing 10th April, due to these changes. We would ask you where possible to manage your waste in a way that your bins can last you the additional period.
This will be a one off and collections will return to the normal alternative weeks after the first collection. There are 9 Recycling Centres throughout the borough, so any additional waste can be deposited at these sites.
You can also present extra segregated recycling material along with your Bryson Recycling boxes for recycling (please separate for recycling first). You will receive information on any changes to your bin day, however your bins will still be collected through the assisted lift. New crews may be collecting in your area and can at times be unfamiliar with street names, if you find your bin has been missed in the first week please call 028 3752 9624 or email to inform us.
We would ask you to please call 028 3752 9624 or email as soon as possible to report the missed bin to us and we will endeavour to rectify any problems.
If you do not have a brown bin but your information leaflet shows that you should have we would ask you to call 028 3752 9624 or email for us to firstly check the information. If you are in an area that has brown bins collected, we will arrange for a brown bin to be delivered to you.
